Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and show you city highlights aboard a Vintage jeep. You will see West lake, Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and a lake that contains the remnants of an American B-52 bomber. Before enjoying local specialties from hand-picked street eateries and authentic local restaurants, we will stop at the historic Long Bien bridge.
In the evening, you will be taken to a house in Hanoi where a local family will throw open the doors of their home to you. After the introductions have been made, sit down to a delicious home cooked meal of traditional Vietnamese dishes prepared by your host using fresh handpicked ingredients. While you eat, chat with your hosts and learn all about their cuisine, traditions and customs. Listening to their personal stories will give you an intimate insight into their life.

After breakfast at your hotel, a guide will bring you to the ferry terminal to board a boat in Cat Hai Town.
After boarding the cruise, you can enjoy a welcome drink as you receive a cruise briefing and safety instructions before checking into your suite.
In the afternoon, you will cruise to Da Chong islet, where you’ll find a colonial lighthouse built by the French more than 100 years ago. Then its off to Gia Luan Lagoon where limestone karst formations rise out of the sea in a quiet bay that few cruise ships visit.
Next, you will approach the Ba Trai Dao beaches in Lan Ha Bay. The area is a secret hideaway with pristine beaches, caves, coves and 400 limestone islands. Options include kayaking or swimming.
Finally, head back to the cruise ship and enjoy a cocktail to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
At 6:30 pm, evening activities begin including tea and a Vietnamese cooking class led by the boat’s chef.
A memorable dining experience will be offered at the restaurant, with local food in an intimate and romantic setting. Enjoy evening views of the bay at the bar on the top deck or try your hand squid fishing (as optional). The bars are open until late.

At 6:15 am, start the day with a session of Vovinam, a Vietnamese martial art, on the sundeck before enjoying a light breakfast on board.
Next, you will head off in a bamboo boat to explore the Dark and Bright Cave. Return to the ship for checkout.
You will enjoy brunch while cruising back to the harbor where you can relax in the lounge before a private car brings you to the airport for a flight to Hue (quoted separately).

Our local guide will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the last remaining Royal Palace in Vietnam – Hue Citadel.
Hue was founded as Vietnam’s capital city by Gia Long, the first king of the Nguyen Dynasty in 1802. It held this position for nine Nguyen dynasties until 1945 and despite being badly damaged during multiple 20th-century wars, the massive complex features hundreds of monuments and ruins, such as the Forbidden Purple City, once the residence of the royal family.
After leaving the Imperial Hue Citadel, we will explore the ancient city by boat along Hue’s Perfume River.
The boat will make a stop at Thien Mu Pagoda, where you can see the traditional architecture of Hue’s pagodas and hear mysterious stories including an explanation of the pagoda’s name and its sacredness.
Next, you will visit the Mausoleum of King Tu Duc and wander its majestic grounds.
The boat will return you to the dock where your private car will be waiting to bring you back to your hotel.

Have an unforgettable dinner experience in Boi Tran Garden. Boi Tran Garden is heavily influenced by art and the dining space includes an elegant hall that is adorned with unique contemporary artwork. “Complexity, but not complicated,” is the restaurant’s ethos and their deceptively simple dishes feature ingredients from the surrounding garden. If you’re lucky and she’s working that night, you may have the opportunity to meet and chat with artist Boi Tran herself.

Begin your day with a guided bike ride to explore Hoi An’s old town.
During the bike tour, you will visit the house of Quan Thang, the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chua Ong pagoda and the central market to enjoy street food.
In the afternoon, you can visit a workshop where locals will teach you how to make Hoi An’s famous colorful lanterns. You can then release your creations during a boat ride along the Hoai River or keep them as a souvenir.

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and bring you to Cam Kim village where you can learn about agricultural lives in the area. Local farmers will teach you the process of growing clean vegetables, planting flower beds, sowing seeds and watering vegetables. You will also learn how to sculpt wood – another of the village’s industries.
You will enjoy lunch with a family in the village.
In the afternoon, you will cycle along the windy riverbank to take in the peaceful villages before returning to your hotel via private car.

In the afternoon, enjoy our “Modernist Gems of District 1” tour. The half-day tour will expose you to southern Vietnamese modernist architecture, a home-grown movement that was the predominant style from the end of the art deco movement to reunification.
For a proper introduction to the style, the tour will kick-off at Turtle Lake – an important modernist monument – before heading to the city’s best known modernist icon – Reunification palace. After a Vietnamese coffee break, we will take a short walk over to the General Sciences Library with its ornate modernist detail before continuing to some other fine examples of the modernist style.
Finally, discover Saigon’s famous cuisine at night on a Vespa with our flavorful “Hem Gems Street Food” tour to explore more untold stories about Saigon’s cuisine, culture, and people.
We’ve handpicked a selection of our favorite street food gems. Some of the stops have fascinating backstories while others are more straightforward, but they all have one thing in common – delicious food and drinks. Our tour will take you through historic Cho Lon – from our favorite sui cao and Chinese sweet soups to steaming bowls of Hong Kong-style beef noodles with a goat curry finale.

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel to bring you to a pier in the city center to take a speedboat to the Cu Chi Tunnels where you will learn more about the secret world of the Cu Chi freedom fighters including how the tunnels functioned as busy underground cities and the conditions the people lived in.
You will see huge bomb craters created by the heavy bombing campaigns in the region during the American conflict; discover hidden entrances right beneath your feet; wander past little chimneys in the ground that dispersed smoke from underground kitchens; sample some of the simple cuisines that local fighters would have survived on, and have an opportunity to venture into the tunnels and explore the complex.
You will enjoy lunch along in a lush, tropical restaurant before heading back to Saigon by private vehicle.
